Hunt to Live ~ Live to Run

Del Sol Rev Ur Engine at Oxota
Gin comes to us from Susan Van de Water, MD (Del Sol) and we are delighted she's come to the Land of Enchantment. We're enjoying Gin's puppy antics, watching her grow, and see what games she wants to play. We're very pleased with how she's growing out. Although her Texas-sized tantrums could peel paint, sweet puppy kisses make up for the impressive volume.

Gin came to us at 10-1/2 weeks, and right away her days were very busy:

...playing with toys...

...learning valuable life-lessons from the cat...

...playing with Wist...

...sharing lunch and nap with Wist...

...eating and eating and eating...

...storing up energy to ambush Wist, again...

...and tracking mud onto the sofa for a nap.

and at 17 weeks, some things hadn't changed:

We have high hopes for Gin as she grows out:

free-stack (through the zoom lens) at 5 months; her ears are such a crack-up at this age.

Future Plans
In 2008 Gin will be growing out, getting socialized and trained (she loves clicker training), and playing with her best friend Wist. She's discovered the joy of killing plastic bags - we can barely wait until she's all grown and can enter the trial field.

Gin has her daddy's ears and rear, her mama's head, scissor bite, full dentition, and black pigmentation. In addition to her bold, confident, outgoing temperament, we love her type:
short back, long loin, open croup, and balanced angulation. She is CERF Normal. Click to see Gin's pedigree.
